Job summary

Teys Australia is seeking qualified Mechanical Fitters to join the Facility Asset team in our beef processing operations. You will maintain and repair meat processing machinery, troubleshoot pumps, and perform fault finding on packaging equipment while adhering to WHS policies.

Qualifications

• Mechanical fitter with hydraulic and pneumatic fault finding experience.
• Experience in processing plants under pressure.
• Welding skills in TIG, MIG and ARC.
• Experience in overhauling pumps and fault finding packaging machines.
• Ability to work in accordance with WHS policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on meat processing machinery and equipment.
• Overhaul pumps and troubleshoot as required.
• Perform fault-finding on packaging machines.

About the Role

Teys Australia are seeking qualified Mechanical Fitters to join the Facility Asset team. The role will be responsible for providing repair and maintenance services on a daily basis, ensuring two way communication on environmental matters, maintaining downtime to a minimum, as well as following Work place, Health and Safety policies and procedures.

Other responsibilities include:

• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on meat processing machinery and equipment.
• Overhaul and troubleshoot pumps and other components as required.
• Perform fault-finding on package machines.

About You

It is essential that you have the following:
