Job summary

McDonalds Australia is seeking a maintenance team member to keep the restaurant clean, safe and welcoming for customers and staff. You will report to the Restaurant Manager and focus on internal and external areas, getting the restaurant ready for trade each day.

The role is ideal for someone highly organised who can work autonomously, meet strict timelines and handle tasks such as mopping, cleaning windows and carpark upkeep, while staying approachable with team members.

• Confident in engaging with customers, suppliers or contractors when needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the internal and external restaurant environment to provide a clean, functioning and welcoming environment for Customers and the restaurant team.
• Maintain equipment to ensure it is well functioning and the restaurant environment is safe and secure from potential hazards.
• Maintain the restaurant carpark, patio and all exterior equipment including, but not limited to the bins, gardens, curbs, signage, floors, tables and chairs.
• Organise and clean the back area of the restaurant including the rubbish area and staff toilets.
• Comply with restaurant safety and security standards for a safe working environment.
• Complete ad hoc maintenance tasks when requested by the Management team.
