Job summary

Teys Australia is seeking an Electrical and Mechanical (Fitter and Turner) Apprentice to join our Maintenance Team at our Biloela site in 2027. This is a fantastic opportunity to earn while you learn, gain valuable industry experience, and develop the skills needed for a successful trade career.

You will be mentored on-site by qualified tradespeople and will gain qualifications, industry tickets and practical skills through comprehensive training throughout your apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• Local to the Biloela region (essential).
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screening (essential).
• Successful completion of Year 10 or equivalent (age 16 required).
• Willingness to be vaccinated against q-fever (essential).
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside qualified tradespeople to carry out preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs, equipment installations, and continuous improvement projects across the site.
