Job summary

Teys Australia is seeking qualified experienced Electricians to join the Maintenance team at the Rockhampton meat processing plant. The role will be responsible for maintaining the Rockhampton meat processing plant and equipment and supporting the day-to-day production requirements of the business.

To succeed you will have a Trade Electrical qualification, circuit drawing skills, fault finding with VSDs/PLCs, and PLC/HMI programming experience.

Qualifications

• Trade Electrical qualification required or equivalent.
• Ability to develop and read circuit drawings.
• Fault finding with VSDs and PLCs.
• Switchboard building experience desirable.
• PLC and HMI programming experience desirable.
• Self-motivated and results-driven.
• Knowledge of instrumentation.
• Excellent communications and technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the Rockhampton meat processing plant and equipment.
• Support day-to-day production requirements.
• Rebuild motors, isolation points, and emergency stop controls (as part of maintenance).

About the Role

Teys Australia is seeking qualified experienced Electricians to join the Maintenance team. The role will be responsible for maintaining the Rockhampton meat processing plant and equipment and supporting the day-to-day production requirements of the business.

Other requirements include:

• Rebuilding motors, isolation points, and emergency stop controls
• USD and PLC experience (desirable)
• Fault finding package machines
• Installing machines, connect and disconnect.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Trade Electrical qualification (further education highly regarded)
• Ability to develop circuit drawings and read circuit drawings
• Fault finding experience with VSDs & PLCs
• Switchboard building experience (desirable)
• PLC and HMI programming experience (desirable)
• Self-motivated results-driven
• Knowledge of Instrumentation
• Excellent communications and technical skills.
