Job summary

James Hardie is seeking a capable Machine Operator & Forklift Driver at our Rosehill manufacturing site to operate concrete mixing, stacking and related machinery. You will set up moulds and fixtures, monitor processes and maintain safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Successful applicants will hold a valid forklift licence, have manufacturing experience, and be committed to quality, teamwork and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Valid forklift licence.
• Experience in a manufacturing, production or quality-focused environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Ability to use computer-based systems for machine operation and data entry.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work a rotating 4 on 4 off roster.
• Willingness to work 12-hour day and night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate concrete mixing, stacking and splitting machinery.
• Set up moulds, tooling and machine fixtures.
• Adjust grinding and cutting equipment.
• Monitor production processes to meet efficiency and performance targets.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet specification requirements.
• Follow production schedules and meet operational targets.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform manual handling tasks as required.
• Maintain a safe, clean and efficient work environment.
• Follow WHS policies, procedures and safety standards.
