Job summary

James Hardie is seeking a reliable Machine & Forklift Operator to join our Rosehill manufacturing site, supporting operations with a strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork.

You will operate concrete mixing, stacking and splitting machines, set up moulds, inspect samples, conduct daily forklift pre-start checks, move stock, and perform manual handling up to 20kg in a fast-paced, safety‑conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Current Forklift License is required.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Willingness to undertake manual labour as required.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or production environments is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Operating concrete mixing, stacking and splitting machines.
• Setting up and installing moulds and other machine fixtures.
• Collecting and examining samples for conformity to specifications and adjusting machine settings accordingly.
• Setting grinding and cutting edges.
• Forklift pre-start checklist daily.
• Unloading off machinery and moving product to necessary location.
• Putting stock away and moving stock around using the forklift.
• Performing manual handling tasks of up to 20kg.
• Maintaining housekeeping standards across the work area.

What You\'ll Be Doing
