Job summary

Workfast is seeking reliable Machine Operators to join a leading Steel manufacturing and distribution company. Immediate start with full training provided and potential for permanent placement.

You’ll operate steel processing machinery and gantry cranes, cutting, bending and shaping reinforcing steel, while maintaining safety and quality standards within a busy production team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in machine operation, manufacturing or production is highly regarded.
• Gantry crane experience is desirable.
• Basic MIG welding experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Physically fit and comfortable with repetitive manual handling.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Safety-focused and willing to learn.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Full Australian working rights.

Workfast is seeking reliable Machine Operators to join a leading Steel manufacturing and distribution company.

This is a great opportunity for reliable and safety-focused candidates looking for ongoing work, with full training provided and the potential for a permanent position for the right person.

You’ll be working as part of a busy production team, operating steel processing machinery and gantry cranes used to cut, bend, shape and process reinforcing steel products.

Pay Rate: $40.00p/h + Penalties + Super
Hours: Dayshift - Mon-Fri 6:00am-2:00pm / Afternoon - Mon-Fri 2:00pm-10:00pm
Start Date: Immediate Start – Pending Successful Medical
