The Role:
Our Machine Operator position is responsible for the safe, efficient, and accurate operation of packaging machines to produce sealed bags that meet quality, safety, and production standards.
This role involves machine setup, monitoring, minor troubleshooting, quality checks, and adherence to workplace safety and hygiene requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
Operate, monitor and troubleshoot bagging machinery to ensure safe, efficient and uninterrupted production.
Perform quality checks on finished products, ensuring bag weight, seal integrity, product appearance and coding meet specifications.
Accurately complete production records, quality documentation and operational reports.
Follow all Workplace Health & Safety (WHS), hygiene and quality standards, promptly reporting any hazards, incidents or near misses.
Conduct routine machine cleaning, preventative maintenance and minor operational adjustments to maximise equipment performance.
Achieve production targets through effective teamwork, clear communication and support of training and onboarding activities when required.
Skills & Experience:
Current Forklift Licence (LF).
Current Australian Drivers Licence.
Ability to perform manual handling and physically demanding tasks.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to follow instructions and work safely.
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
Machine Operating experience VFFS.
Previous experience in manufacturing, production, warehouse, or fertilizer operations.
Experience operating bagging equipment or working in a bulk materials environment.
Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements.
