Job summary

National Workforce is helping a Kilsyth production facility recruit experienced Machine Operators. You will operate and monitor production machinery, set up machines, load materials, inspect quality, and rotate through areas to support ongoing operations.

Day shift is 7:00am–3:00pm Monday to Thursday, with Friday 7:00am–1:00pm; overtime may be required. Applicants should be physically fit, safety-focused and reliable.

A fantastic opportunity has become available to join a well-established production facility located in Kilsyth.

We are currently seeking experienced and reliable Machine Operators who are productive, safety-focused and committed to ongoing work. The role will initially commence on Day Shift, however flexibility may be required to work Afternoon Shift depending on production requirements and customer demand.

About the Role

• Operating and monitoring production machinery
• Setting up and adjusting machines as required
• Loading materials and products into machinery
• Monitoring the production process to ensure machines are running efficiently
• Performing quality inspections on finished products
• Identifying and reporting machine faults or production issues
• Ensuring products are correctly assembled, packaged and labelled
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area
• Rotating through different areas of the production facility as required

To Be Successful, You Will:

• Have previous Machine Operator experience
• Have a strong understanding of manufacturing and production processes
• Be confident operating and monitoring production machinery
• Have strong attention to detail and a focus on quality
• Be mechanically minded with the ability to identify basic machine issues
• Have excellent communication skills
• Be physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Be willing to learn the entire site operation and rotate through different duties
• Be reliable, punctual and committed to ongoing work
• Experience within the packaging industry will be highly regarded

Work Hours

• Day Shift Monday to Thursday: 7:00am - 3:00pm Friday: 7:00am - 1:00pm

You must be available to work Monday to Friday on an ongoing basis and be able to commit to overtime when required.
