What you will do

• Within the Cold end/Packaging area, oversee and manage the production, quality and inspection/packaging processes.
• Operate and maintain automated machinery and systems to ensure glass products meet quality standards and production targets.
• Operate and maintain automated equipment (annealing lehrs, inspection machines, transport, and packing systems).
• Monitor and adjust cooling/annealing processes to meet production specifications.
• Conduct visual and automated inspections for defects.
• Troubleshoot basic mechanical and process issues.
• Support continuous improvement efforts and maintain accurate records of production data and quality metrics.

Position details

• Rotating shift: 8-hour shifts with two consecutive weekends off every five weeks.
• Full training provided through the Visy Training Academy.
• Starting rate from $40 per hour (Plus OT and Shift Allowance) onwards.
