Our client in Melbourne's south eastern suburbs is seeking a Print Finishing Machine Operator to operate laminating, embossing and cutting machines. You will be trained on a range of equipment and work on an AM shift from 6am to 2pm, with training during 6am–2pm for about 4–8 weeks.

The role involves producing high-quality finishing work, with opportunities for overtime and above-award pay rates. You will join a supportive, growing team in a well-established embellishment and print finishing

Formación

• Have experience in the sheet fed print industry.
• Preferably laminating or die cutting experience (training provided).
• Good basic literacy and numeracy skills.
• Strong work ethic.

Our client is a well-established leader in embellishment and print finishing located in Melbourne's south eastern suburbs. Due to business growth, they need additional machine operators.This is an opportunity to work alongside a strong and growing team of print finishing staff.

Print Finishing Machine Operator

Ideally they are looking for a machine operator to be trained on a range of print finishing equipment, including:

• laminating machines
• embossing machines.

This role is offered on the AM shift (6am to 2pm).

Training will initially be on the AM shift (6am - 2pm) for approximately 4-8 weeks.

What the job involves

As a Machine Operator you will be responsible for:

• operating print finishing machines(laminating, foil stamping or embossing, cutting)
• performing work to a high-quality standard
• working both independently and as part of a team

The person we are looking for

The appropriate candidate will:

• have experience in the sheet fed print industry
• preferably have laminating or die cutting experience (however, full training is available for the right candidate)
• have good basic literacy and numeracy skills
• have a strong work ethic.
