Job summary

Lite n' Easy in Australia near Brisbane Airport operates a state-of-the-art facility in Banyo. We’re seeking an experienced Machine Operator for our Sauce Room to keep production running smoothly, operate key equipment, and ensure each batch meets quality standards.

Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 3:00am – 11:06am. You will follow batch sheets, sign off lines, and perform quality checks while working closely with QA, Production, Prep, Assembly, Maintenance and your Team Leader.

Qualifications

• Experience in food manufacturing is highly regarded.
• Experience operating machinery such as cooking equipment, mixers, pumps, filling machines or PLC/touchscreen-controlled equipment.
• Comfort following recipes, batch sheets and formulas, with a good understanding of consistency.

Responsibilities

• Operate key equipment including cooking equipment, mixers, pumps and filling machines.
• Follow batch sheets and recipes accurately, from ingredient weighing through to final product.
• Set up and sign off the line each shift, following production schedules and SOPs.
• Conduct quality checks throughout the run and troubleshoot minor issues.
• Work hands-on in a fast-paced production environment, including exposure to heat and steam.

About the Role:

• Operate key equipment including cooking equipment, mixers, pumps and filling machines
• Follow batch sheets and recipes accurately, from ingredient weighing through to final product

What you bring:

• Experience in food manufacturing is highly regarded -sauce, dairy, beverage, meat or ready meal productionor other batch/HACCP environments
• Experience operating machinery such as cooking equipment, mixers, pumps, filling machines or PLC/touchscreen-controlled equipment (other industries considered)
• Comfort following recipes, batch sheets and formulas, with a good understanding of consistency
• Sharp attention to detail -you'll pick up on the small things, like a wrong weight, temperature or missing paperwork
• A team-first attitude -while you'll often work independent on the equipment, you'll need communicate well with QA, Production, Prep, Assembly, Maintenance and your Team Leader
• Physically fit for standing, lifting and working in a fast-paced, hand‑sized? environment
