Hide and Seek Digital invites a M365/SharePoint Engineer to join the Canberra-based Engineering practice. You will own the Microsoft platform, including SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform, .NET and Azure services, shaping configuration, security and governance for client tenants.

You will design end-to-end platform solutions, migrate content, build provisioning scripts, and implement security controls while collaborating with advisory teams and handing over to Managed Services or client IT.

Formación

• Demonstrated experience designing and implementing Microsoft 365 solutions end to end.
• Working depth in SharePoint Online, Teams and Power Platform.
• Development in C#/.NET or TypeScript with SPFx and Microsoft Graph.
• PowerShell and PnP for provisioning and administration.
• Content migration experience and understanding of permissions.
• Qualifications in IT, computer science or related discipline, or equivalent experience.

Responsabilidades

• Choose between out-of-the-box configuration, Power Platform, or custom SPFx/.NET and document decisions.
• Develop with SPFx, .NET and Azure Functions, tested and deployed via pipelines.
• Design information architecture and permissions with clients.
• Plan and run content migrations including permissions.
• Build provisioning templates and scripts to recreate tenant configuration.
• Incorporate security and governance: least privilege, external sharing, sensitivity labels, retention, and ISM controls.
• Prepare permissions/content for Copilot and flag issues early.
• Hand over with admin guides and training to Managed Services or client IT.
• Review and guide Associate Consultants on engagements.

We're looking for a M365/SharePoint Engineer to join the Engineering practice at H+S. You'll own the Microsoft platform our clients run on: SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform, .NET and the Azure and Entra services underneath them, built so the platform is configured, secured and governed rather than accumulated. You'll take solutions from requirement to live inside a client's tenant, decide whether they should be configured, built on Power Platform or written in code, and answer for how they behave once people are using them. You'll work across Advisory, Government, Private Sector and Managed Services engagements, without day-to-day direction.

What You'll Do

• Design and build platform solutions end to end: intranets, document and records management, collaboration spaces, Power Platform applications and Microsoft Graph integrations
• Choose between out-of-the-box configuration, Power Platform and custom SPFx or .NET, and document why
• Develop with SPFx, .NET and Azure Functions, tested, reviewed and deployed through pipelines rather than by hand
• Design information architecture and permissions with Content Designers and the client
• Plan and run content migrations from file shares, legacy SharePoint and other platforms, including the permissions
• Build provisioning templates, PnP and PowerShell scripts so tenant configuration can be rebuilt rather than remembered
• Build in security and compliance: least privilege, external sharing, sensitivity labels, retention, and Essential Eight and ISM controls for government clients
• Get permissions and content ready for Copilot, and flag early when they are not
• Hand over cleanly with admin guides, site owner training and handover to Managed Services or client IT
• Review and guide the work of Associate Consultants on your engagements

What We're Looking For

Microsoft 365 and development

• Demonstrated experience designing and building Microsoft 365 solutions end to end
• Working depth in SharePoint Online, Teams and Power Platform
• Development in C#/.NET or TypeScript and SPFx, and experience with Microsoft Graph
• PowerShell and PnP for provisioning and administration
• Experience of a content migration, including the permissions
• Qualifications in IT, computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent experience

Security and governance

• A working understanding of Entra ID, permission models and external sharing
• Familiarity with Microsoft Purview: sensitivity labels, retention and data loss prevention

Ways of working

• Able to hold a client relationship without a more senior engineer in the room, including when the client disagrees with you
• Clear communication: you can explain a technical position so that non-technical people act on it
• AI-assisted tooling as a normal part of how you work, with judgement about where its output is not good enough
• Comfortable estimating your work and flagging scope changes before the effort is spent
• Must be an Australian Citizen with an existing Australian Government Baseline security clearance, or higher

• Microsoft associate-level certifications
• Experience working on Government projects and/or in government environments
