Job summary

Trak Recruiting represents a globally recognised luxury retailer in Sydney. We are seeking a Senior Department Manager to lead the Women’s Ready‑to‑Wear, Handbags, Shoes and Accessories departments in a flagship boutique.

You will coach Client Advisors, drive client development and ensure premium service standards. You will partner with the Store Director to balance people leadership with strong commercial results, growing VIP relationships and private appointments in a fast‑paced luxury

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' management experience within luxury retail or premium fashion.
• Strong clientelling and CRM experience with proven ability to develop long-term client relationships.
• Excellent leadership, coaching and hands-on team leadership skills.
• Experience driving private appointments, client conversion and premium service outcomes.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to coach and hold teams accountable.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience delivering sales, KPI and profitability targets.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and inspire a team of Client Advisors to achieve sales and service targets.
• Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration and client experiences.
• Drive CRM and client development strategies, growing VIP portfolios and repeat business.
• Mentor the team to maximise private appointments, client engagement and conversion opportunities.
• Lead by example on the sales floor, delivering elevated styling across Ready-to-Wear, handbags, footwear and accessories.
• Monitor trading performance, identify commercial opportunities and implement action plans to improve results.
• Maintain impeccable visual presentation, operational standards and luxury service expectations.
• Partner with the leadership team to support store initiatives and business growth.
