Job summary

JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort & Spa in Surfers Paradise, Queensland, seeks an accomplished Rooms Division Manager to lead the luxury guest experience across Front Office, Concierge, At Your Service, Guest Relations, Housekeeping and Laundry. You will shape strategy, mentor leaders and deliver exceptional service aligned with Marriott standards.

Qualifications

• Significant progressive leadership experience within Rooms Division, ideally in a luxury hotel or full-service resort.
• Demonstrated experience leading multiple departments and developing successful management teams.
• Strong commercial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, labour management and profitability.
• A proven ability to improve guest satisfaction, quality assurance and operational performance.
• Experience managing Housekeeping operations and working collaboratively with outsourced service partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of luxury guest experiences through anticipation, personalization and ownership.
• Drive ongoing improvements in guest satisfaction, quality assurance and brand standards.
• Foster collaboration between departments to deliver seamless guest journeys.
• Provide strategic direction, mentorship and support to departmental managers and leaders.
• Oversee labor productivity, operating expenses and departmental profitability.
• Partner with Revenue Management to optimize room revenue and upselling opportunities.
• Ensure risk management, safety and compliance with procedures.
