Job summary

Halcyon House, a boutique beachfront hotel on the Tweed Coast, seeks a hands-on Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the team and ensure every room is flawlessly prepared for guests. The role reports to the Housekeeping Manager and collaborates closely with Front Office to maintain exceptional presentation.

Ideal candidates have luxury or boutique hotel experience, strong attention to detail, and a calm, organised leadership style.

Qualifications

• Experience in luxury or boutique hotels, ideally including a supervisory role.
• A sharp eye for detail and real pride in presentation.
• A calm, organised leader who brings people with them.

Responsibilities

• Lead, roster and train the housekeeping team, planning daily allocations around occupancy.
• Work alongside the team on the floor, inspecting rooms and public areas against our presentation standards.
• Coach, give feedback and onboard new starters.
• Coordinate with Front Office on arrivals, departures, VIPs and special requests.
• Manage linen, amenities and cleaning stock, including ordering and cost control.
• Report maintenance issues and follow them through to completion.
• Keep WHS and chemical safety practices current.
• Resolve guest feedback about rooms quickly and warmly.
