Job summary

W Brisbane is seeking a Purchasing Manager to lead procurement, receiving, inventory management and supplier partnerships across the hotel. You will ensure resources meet guest expectations, drive commercial performance and maintain strong controls.

Collaborate with department heads to optimise purchasing, negotiate contracts, and guide the Purchasing team in line with Marriott International and W Hotels standards. This role suits a commercially minded leader in a fast-paced luxury environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as Purchasing Manager or similar leadership role.
• Hospitality or luxury service experience highly regarded.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, purchasing controls and cost management.
• Budgeting, forecasting and reporting experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead all purchasing and receiving operations across the hotel.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and supplier agreements to maximise value.
• Source products and services aligned with Marriott standards and requirements.
• Oversee supplier relationships and cost-saving opportunities.
• Manage tender processes and support strategic sourcing initiatives.
• Oversee inventory control, forecasting, budgeting and stocktakes.
