You will negotiate with suppliers, manage the purchasing team, monitor costs, and collaborate with department leaders to optimise stock levels and supplier performance in a fast-paced luxury environment.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in Purchasing Manager or similar leadership role.
• Hospitality or luxury service experience preferred.
• Strong supplier relationship management and contract negotiations.
• Solid understanding of inventory control and cost management.
• Proven budgeting, forecasting, and reporting abilities.

Aufgaben

• Lead all purchasing and receiving operations across the hotel.
• Establish and maintain relationships with approved suppliers and service providers.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and supplier agreements to maximise value.
• Source products and services that align with Marriott International standards and operational requirements.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings while maintaining quality and service standards.
• Monitor market trends and supplier performance to drive continuous improvement.
• Manage tender processes and support strategic sourcing initiatives.
• Oversee inventory control processes and maintain accurate stock levels across all departments.
• Monitor purchasing trends, inventory usage, and expenditure to support forecasting and budgeting.
• Lead monthly stocktakes and inventory audits, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Review and reconcile purchase orders, receiving records, invoices, and inventory reports.
• Analyse financial and operational data to identify opportunities to improve profitability and efficiency.
• Support month-end reporting, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
