Job summary

The Ritz-Carlton, Melbourne invites you to join our front desk team in delivering legendary service to our guests arriving and departing the hotel.

You will handle enquiries, build relationships, support the front office, take reservations, and manage cash and card transactions while becoming an expert on Melbourne’s luxury scene.

Experience with OPERA or similar PMS and working rights in Australia are preferred; a passion for hospitality and a proactive, customer-facing attitude is essential.

• Experience with OPERA property management system or similar.
• Relevant experience in a similar role.
• Working rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests arriving and departing the hotel through check-in and departure.
• Handle general enquiries and exceed guest expectations.
• Build relationships with guests to enable future bookings.
• Support the front office team with operational tasks.
• Take guest reservations and perform cash handling & credit card responsibilities.
• Be an expert on the luxury hotel and local area to exceed expectations.
