Job summary

Hotel Chadstone Melbourne MGallery, part of the Accor network, is seeking a Food & Beverage Assistant Manager to lead daily operations across Pastore, Altus Rooftop Bar & Lounge, Conference & Events and In-Room Dining. This hands-on role focuses on delivering luxury guest experiences and supporting our operational teams to maintain exceptional standards.

You will lead by example, balance guest satisfaction with business needs, and develop a cohesive, high-performing team across multiple outlets,

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or management experience in Food & Beverage, ideally in luxury hospitality.
• A genuine passion for luxury hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences.
• Ability to oversee multiple outlets and manage competing operational priorities.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the daily operation of all Food & Beverage outlets, ensuring service is seamless and aligned with luxury standards.
• Providing hands-on leadership across restaurant, bar, conferences & events and In-Room Dining operations.
• Leading and supporting Supervisors and teams, setting clear expectations and fostering accountability and service excellence.
• Coaching and developing team members to strengthen capability and confidence for future leadership.
• Ensuring guest experiences are personalised, attentive and memorable at every touchpoint.
• Managing guest feedback and service recovery with professionalism and sound judgment.
• Collaborating with the Executive Chef, Restaurant & Bar Manager and other hotel departments for smooth operations.
• Supporting recruitment, onboarding, training, rostering and labour management.
• Monitoring service standards, outlet presentation and cleanliness, addressing issues promptly.
• Making confident decisions to balance guest satisfaction with business needs.
• Identifying opportunities to improve service delivery, team performance and efficiency.
• Maintaining strong presence during evenings, weekends and public holidays.
