Job summary

Vicpro Security Pty Ltd is seeking experienced Loss Prevention Officers (Covert Operatives) to support our retail clients in Victoria. The role involves detecting, investigating, and preventing theft, fraud and related incidents in retail environments.

Positions are available part-time across various locations in Victoria. The officer will work collaboratively with clients and police, while reporting findings with detailed incident reports and maintaining high professional standards.

Qualifications

• Current Victorian Security License.
• First Aid Certificate.
• Proven experience in Loss Prevention and/or Retail.
• Excellent Situational Awareness and Observation skills.
• Ability to identify Patterns and Potential behaviors leading to theft.
• Excellent level of self presentation and grooming standards.
• A Positive and Proactive Approach to the day to day situations.
• Demonstrated experience in conflict resolution.
• Evening & Weekend availability.
• Strong written communication skills, including incident report writing.
• Ability to time manage and work autonomously in high paced team environment.
• High Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Loss Prevention Officer (Covert) - Retail Security - Victoria

Vicpro Security Pty Ltd, a leading security services provider is currently seeking experienced Loss Prevention Officers (Covert Operatives) to support our valued clients. Positions are available in Part-Time capacity.

The Loss Prevention Officer is responsible for detecting and investigating incidents of shoplifting, theft, and fraud within retail environments. The role involves monitoring customer and staff activity, identifying suspicious behaviour, and working closely with store management and law enforcement to protect company assets and ensure a safe shopping experience.

What you'll be doing
