Chu Underwriting Agencies in Brisbane is recruiting an experienced Property Loss Adjuster to own assessments from initial notification to settlement on a varied portfolio of property and construction-related claims.

You will investigate building damage, review contracts, prepare cost estimates and liaise with builders, insurers and brokers to deliver timely outcomes, maintaining strong client relationships throughout the process.

Competenze

• Previous experience in loss adjusting, ideally across property and construction-related claims.
• Strong knowledge of building damage, repair processes, construction costs and scopes of work.
• Experience reviewing building contracts, variations and construction-related documentation.
• Excellent investigative, analytical and report-writing skills.
• The ability to manage claims independently and make sound technical decisions.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A practical, solutions-focused approach to resolving complex claims.

About the company

Are you an experienced Loss Adjuster looking for your next challenge? This is an opportunity to join an established insurance business where you can utilise your technical expertise across property claims, building damage and construction-related losses.

Working across a varied portfolio of claims, you’ll take ownership of assessments from initial investigation through to resolution, working closely with insurers, brokers, policyholders, builders and other key stakeholders.

Your role
