Crawford is seeking an Executive Loss Adjuster in Victoria to manage complex Construction & Engineering claims from investigation to resolution. You will provide expert advice to insurers, brokers, contractors and stakeholders within Crawford's specialist practice.

Ideal candidates bring significant major loss experience, strong report writing and negotiation skills, and the ability to manage high‑value claims independently while delivering exceptional client outcomes.

Qualifications

• ANZIIF, Loss Adjusting, Engineering or related qualifications (desirable).
• Current Driver's Licence required.
• Significant experience handling Construction, Engineering, Infrastructure or Major Loss claims.
• Proven ability to manage complex and high‑value claims independently.
• Strong report writing, negotiation and communication skills.
• Experience working with insurers, brokers and corporate clients.
• Ability to build trusted relationships and deliver outstanding client outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex Construction & Engineering claims from investigation through to resolution.
• Assess coverage, liability, cause and extent of loss.
• Prepare detailed technical reports and claim recommendations.
• Engage with insurers, brokers, contractors and legal representatives.
• Negotiate claim outcomes and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Represent Crawford at client meetings and industry events.
• Maintain exceptional client service standards and compliance requirements.

Job Description

Bring your Construction, Engineering or Major Loss adjusting expertise to a role that offers exposure to some of the industry's most technically challenging claims.

As an Executive Loss Adjuster, you will manage complex losses from appointment through to resolution while providing expert advice to insurers, brokers, contractors and stakeholders. This is an opportunity for an experienced adjuster to work within Crawford's specialist Construction & Engineering practice, supported by local and global technical expertise.

You are an experienced Senior or Executive Loss Adjuster with strong technical capability, commercial acumen and confidence managing complex stakeholder relationships.

You will bring:

• Strong report writing, negotiation and communication skills
• Experience working with insurers, brokers and corporate clients

• ANZIIF, Loss Adjusting, Engineering or related qualifications (desirable)
• Current Driver's Licence
