EDT Global in Sydney is seeking an experienced Domestic Loss Adjuster to join our dynamic team. Based in Sydney, you will manage a diverse portfolio of domestic property claims, handling claims from instruction to final settlement with autonomy and integrity.

You will work with insurers, brokers, and clients to ensure timely, professional outcomes. A solid background in domestic loss adjusting, insurance knowledge, and the ability to work remotely in a hybrid setting are valued, with a Diploma

Qualifications

• Experience in domestic property loss adjusting.
• Strong technical knowledge of insurance policies, coverage, and claim processes.
• High level of self-motivation and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple claims simultaneously.
• Valid Australian Driver’s Licence (for site visits).
• Diploma of Loss Adjusting (ANZIIF or equivalent) highly regarded but not essential.

• Manage end-to-end loss adjusting for domestic claims.
• Assess damages, determine liability, and provide detailed reports to insurers.
• Conduct remote site assessments (with occasional on-site visits as required).
• Liaise with insured parties, brokers, repairers, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and company procedures.
• Manage claim costs effectively and negotiate settlements where appropriate.
• Prepare and submit accurate and timely reports with clear recommendations.
