Job summary

Heidelberg Materials operates Sancrox Quarry, located about 15 minutes west of Port Macquarie. The Weighbridge & Logistics Coordinator will manage weighbridge operations, coordinate the Truck & Dog fleet, handle administration and compliance tasks, and support sales and dispatch activities.

The role requires an organised, proactive individual, with early start times, Monday to Friday work and occasional Saturday shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, transport scheduling or fleet coordination.
• Full training and support provided for those without direct logistics experience.
• Background in business administration, compliance administration or WHS/regulatory reporting.

Responsibilities

• Operate the weighbridge and process all outgoing load tickets accurately and efficiently.
• Plan and coordinate daily allocation and scheduling of the Truck & Dog fleet.
• Build and maintain relationships with haulage contractors, transport providers and suppliers.
• Manage purchase orders, cartage adjustments, invoicing and reconciliation.
• Maintain compliance documentation and reporting (WHS, environmental, quarry regs).
• Own site administration systems and digital records (SAP or similar, MS Office).
• Identify opportunities to improve site processes and reporting and implement them.
