Job summary

Dalrymple Bay Coal Terminal Pty Ltd in the Mackay region is seeking an Operations Planner – Logistics for a fixed-term contract ending 30 September 2028. The role spans planning across rail, yard, and berth operations to maximise terminal performance.

You will coordinate with internal and external teams to develop integrated operational and tactical plans, ensuring smooth shift transitions and maintaining stock levels, while supporting a safe, efficient logistics workflow.

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• High-level communication with a focus on customer service.
• Experience in integrated planning within bulk logistics transport is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to work a lifestyle roster: 4 on, 5 off, 5 on, 4 off, 5 on, 5 off.

Responsibilities

• Craft operational plans across rail, yard, and berth to maximise terminal performance.
• Coordinate with internal and external teams to develop integrated operational and tactical plans.
• Ensure seamless transitions between shifts and maintain optimal stock levels.
