Job summary

AirRoad Logistics invites applications for a Team Leader – Logistics at the Pemulwuy site in NSW. You will coordinate day-to-day warehouse activities, lead a team of full-time and casual staff, and ensure shipments are processed safely and efficiently to meet service levels.

Relocation of NSW operations to Kemps Creek in Q1 2027 is planned. The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and hands-on operation in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse, logistics or distribution environment.
• Experience leading and coordinating full-time and casual employees.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Sound IT skills and experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Strong understanding of warehouse processes and operational requirements.
• Ability to monitorKPIs, service levels and operational performance.
• Proactive approach to continuous improvement and process optimisation.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and drive positive change.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the timely and efficient processing of shipments in line with service levels and AirRoad standards.
• Lead, coordinate and support full-time and casual team members to meet daily requirements.
• Monitor workflow and provide updates to Supervisors and Managers.
• Escalate issues where KPIs or customer requirements may be compromised.
• Maintain a safe, clean and efficient warehouse operation.
• Support inventory accuracy and operational efficiency with Supervisors.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to boost service levels and cost effectiveness.
• Assist with onboarding of new customers and operational changes.
