Job summary

JAS Contract Logistics is seeking an experienced Dispatch Team Leader to oversee daily dispatch operations and lead a small warehouse team in Sydney. You will coordinate loading/unloading, ensure on-time picking, packing, and dispatch, and maintain safety and inventory accuracy.

You will mentor staff, drive continuous improvement, and liaise with management to optimise throughput in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Forklift licence is essential.
• Experience loading/unloading in a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Strong computer literacy with WMS and MS Office.
• Previous experience leading or supervising a small team.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lead by example.

The Dispatch Team Leader plays an integral role in ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse, overseeing the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. This position involves coordinating the daily activities of warehouse personnel and ensuring the accuracy of shipments and inventory. By maintaining a clear line of communication between warehouse staff and management, the warehouse lead ensures that operations run efficiently and effectively. Through their leadership, they support the overall objectives of the warehouse, ensuring that all orders are fulfilled on a timely basis.
