Job summary

Fuse Recruitment is seeking a Dispatch Leading Hand on the Gold Coast to own daily dispatch operations in a fast-paced warehouse. You will lead the dispatch team, coordinate on-time order dispatch, and partner with production and transport to keep goods moving efficiently.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong organisation, and a proactive problem-solving approach. Two years in dispatch/logistics and a forklift licence are advantageous for success in this position.

Are you an experienced logistics professional who thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment? We're looking for a Dispatch Leading Hand to take ownership of our dispatch function, ensuring customer orders are picked, loaded, and dispatched accurately and on time.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll coordinate daily dispatch operations, support the warehouse team, and work closely with production and transport to keep goods moving efficiently. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support the dispatch team to ensure daily targets are achieved.
• Coordinate the timely and accurate dispatch of customer orders.
• Allocate workloads and assist with day-to-day operational priorities.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and complete dispatch documentation.
• Liaise with production, warehouse, and transport providers to ensure smooth operations.
• Resolve dispatch issues and adapt quickly to changing priorities and schedules.
• Promote a safe, clean, and efficient working environment.

• Previous experience in dispatch, logistics, warehouse, or transport operations.
• Demonstrated leadership or Leading Hand experience.
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.

• A proactive approach with strong problem-solving abilities.

Desirable Skills

• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or ERP software.
• High Risk Forklift Licence (LF).
• Knowledge of inventory control and stock management.
• Understanding of workplace health and safety procedures.
• Experience working in a manufacturing or distribution environment.

About You

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in dispatch, warehousing, or logistics.
• Previous experience in a Leading Hand, Team Leader, or Supervisory role is highly regarded.
• Relevant qualifications in logistics, warehousing, or transport are advantageous but not essential.
• Flexible, reliable, and committed to delivering exceptional customer service.
