Job summary

Whirlpool Corporation in Sydney is seeking a Logistics Specialist to support supply chain operations, working with internal teams and 3PL partners to ensure accurate inventory, on-time delivery, and cost efficiency.

You will own stock control, returns management, and order processing, coordinating across SAP, WMS, and ERP systems while maintaining KPI targets and ensuring compliance with trade requirements.

Qualifications

• Advanced SAP experience is required.
• Direct operations experience in a supply chain environment is essential.
• Indirect operations experience with 3PL partners is desirable.
• Direct stock control/inventory management experience is required.
• Strong written and oral communication skills are essential.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and make independent decisions is required.

Responsibilities

• Stock Control: maintain SOH alignment and storage location alignment across SAP, CWL Prostock, and 3PL WMS.
• Returns Management: act as main POC for returns queries and process returns in SAP.
• Warehouse Outbound: manage outbound delivery compliance and reconcile shipment issues.
• Order Management: handle trade customer service queries, pricing adjustments, and EDI order processing.

Job description

The Logistics Specialist is responsible for supporting the supply chain operations team and 3PL providers to deliver an efficient and cost effective operation through maintaining accurate inventory control and system alignment. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with internal teams and the 3PL partner to enhance service levels, reduce costs, and improve overall supply chain performance.

Key Responsibilities

Stock Control

• Maintaining SOH alignment between SAP vs CWL Prostock and SAP vs Swiftlog
• Maintaining system storage location alignment between SAP and 3PL WMS
• Short shipment and Oversupply investigation and cycle counting
• EOM MC.1 Inventory reporting

Returns Management

• Main POC for returns queries from internal and external stakeholders
• Investigating and liaising with internal and external stakeholders for problematic return cases
• Creating Returns ZZZR in SAP
• Processing Amazon Returns
• Processing and creating D2C RTS
• Processing and creating B2B RTS
• Creating oversupply returns
• Creating and booking return picks up via Startrak portal
• Creating invoices for excess shipments

Warehouse Outbound

• Main POC for KN Distribution
• Maintain Transport KPI DIFOT
• Investigate and reconcile short shipment, oversupply, mispick and lost in transit claims for B2B and D2C orders
• EOM order flow execution
• Maintaining Outbound delivery compliance as per Trade partner requirements

Order Management

• Main POC for trade customer service email queries (ownership of orders email address)
• Main POC for trade customer service phone queries (ownership of orders phone)
• Approving and processing short shipment claims
• Approving and processing pricing claims
• Amending and overriding pricing in orders post approval from finance
• Processing Australia and New Zealand manual orders; Leading and Managing Accenture India team working on Order processing
• Processing HN NZ Portal orders
• Creating new customer and store locations in SAP for new order processing;managing GLN mapping master for EDI customers
• Invoicing in Colladium for TGG and Costco Orders
• Processing FIG orders
• Processing Amazon orders
• Coordinating with internal sales team to release back orders
• Amending, cancelling and reinstating EDI orders including Myer and David Jones orders
• Work with IT and other business stakeholders to design, test and roll out of trade purchase portal
