Responsibilities

You will be an integral part of the operation, managing theflow of materials from receiving and storage through to picking, kitting,packing and dispatch. You’ll work closely with maintenance, operations andother internal teams to make sure the right parts and materials are availableat the right time.

As a Logistics Operator, you’ll help keep warehouse andmaterial flows running efficiently by:

• Receiving, checking and putting away incominggoods.
• Picking, preparing and issuing parts andmaterials to maintenance and operational teams.
• Completing line-side kitting, packing anddispatch activities.
• Operating forklifts and other material-handlingequipment safely and efficiently.
• Managing inventory, stock movements and assettracking to ensure accurate records and availability.
• Performing stocktakes, cycle counts and regularinventory checks.
• Using SAP, ERP and warehouse management systemsto accurately record and manage material movements.
• Ensuring physical stock movements match systemtransactions.
• Working with internal teams and externalpartners to maintain smooth and timely material flow.
• Keeping the warehouse clean, organised andcompliant with safety requirements.

Your Profile

You will be a practical, reliable and safety-focused logisticsprofessional who takes ownership of your work.

Ideally, you’ll have:

• Experience in Warehouse, Logistics, Materialshandling or Supply chain operations.
• Experience with ERP/Warehouse ManagementSystems; SAP highly desirable.
• Current forklift licence with demonstratedoperating experience.
• Strong inventory management, attention to detailand record-keeping skills.
• Strong commitment to workplace health andsafety.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work safely and accurately in a busyoperational environment.

Location: West Melbourne

Duration: 6 Months
