Job summary

FedEx is seeking an energetic Operations Supervisor to lead our Canberra station's daily fleet execution, safety briefings, and performance reporting.

In a high-volume logistics environment you will coach frontline couriers and staff, manage vendors and contractors, and collaborate with operations and customer service to drive continuous improvement.

This permanent, full-time role requires strong people leadership, safety focus, and hands-on management of schedules, SLAs, and operational change.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of frontline teams in a logistics/delivery environment.
• Experience with transport, courier, or fleet operations
• Experience delivering safety briefings and promoting safety culture
• Ability to manage changing priorities in high-volume operations
• Experience supervising direct staff, contractors and agency labour

Responsibilities

• Lead daily fleet supervision, dispatch, and adherence to schedules.
• Conduct daily Safety & Toolbox Talks with couriers and drivers, promoting a safety culture.
• Oversee vendor, contractor, and agency labour performance to meet SLAs.
• Coach and develop frontline staff and drivers for improved performance.
• Collaborate with dock, warehouse, and customer service teams to align workflows.
• Generate and review daily operational reports and KPIs for management.
