Job summary

Nolan's Interstate Transport is seeking a Logistics Operational Planner/Supervisor for night shift in Withcott, QLD. You will manage freight allocation, plan workloads and supervise forklift operators to ensure efficient, safe operations.

Role requires experience in transport/logistics, knowledge of QA and fatigue management, and willingness to obtain required certifications. Roster runs Fri–Mon, 6pm–5am, with opportunities for development and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a transport environment or logistics operations.
• Understanding of Fatigue Management, Mass Management, Quality Assurance and Chain of Responsibility; TLIF0006 certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Proficient Microsoft Office and attention to detail.
• Forklift licence (highly desirable).
• Experience in fresh produce logistics is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Permanent night shift roster (Friday–Monday) from 6pm to 5am or finish.
• Allocate freight, plan and manage staff workloads.
• Supervise, train and mentor a small team of forklift operators.
• Assist with unloading/loading inbound/outbound freight in fridge vans and trailers.
• Adhere to storage, temperature and inventory controls; maintain QA records.

About the Role

• Permanent Position working a night shift roster of Friday/Saturday/Sunday/Monday inclusive

• Hours of work generally 6pm to 5am or finish

• Assist with allocating freight, plan and manage staff workloads

• Supervise, train and mentor a small team of forklift operators

• Assist when required with the unloading/loading inbound and outbound freight in fridge vans, trailers and taut liners

• Follow company procedures for storage, temperature, and inventory controls

• Keep records in accordance with Quality Assurance procedures

Ideally you will have

• A minimum of 2 years' experience in a transport environment, ideally in a logistics operational role

• Proven understanding of Fatigue Management, Mass Management, Quality Assurance and Chain of Responsibility and hold a TLIF0006 Administer a fatigue risk management system certification or being willing to obtain

• Sound Microsoft Office skills and attention to detail

• Truck/High Risk Forklift Licence (highly desirable)

• Previous logistics experience in a fresh produce environment will be highly regarded
