Job summary

Nolan's Interstate Transport is seeking a reliable Transport Operator to unload/load freight in fridge vans and trailers, following QA procedures. Rosters include Tue-Sat or Mon-Fri with every second Saturday, starting at 6.00am.

Role requires a High Risk Forklift Licence, a current Driver's Licence, and experience in cold storage. Strong communication, attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions are essential.

Qualifications

• High Risk Forklift Licence is required.
• A valid driver’s licence is essential.
• Experience in cold storage is highly regarded.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are expected.
• Attention to detail is important for QA and record-keeping.
• Ability to follow instructions and procedures is a must.

Responsibilities

• Unload and load inbound and outbound freight in fridge vans, trailers and tautliners.
• Follow company procedures for storage, temperature, and inventory controls.
• Pick and prepare product for transport.
• Keep records in accordance with Quality Assurance procedures.

About the Role

• Rosters available are Tuesday to Saturday or alternatively Monday to Friday and every second Saturday with a start time 6.00am to finish
• Unload and load inbound and outbound freight in fridge vans, trailers and tautliners
• Follow company procedures for storage, temperature, and inventory controls
• Pick and prepare product for transport
• Keep records in accordance with Quality Assurance procedures

Pre-requisites

• High Risk Forklift Licence
• Current Drivers Licence
• Experience working in cold storage (highly regarded)
• Sound verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions
