Job summary

Nolan's Interstate Transport invites applications for a Logistics Operational Planner/Supervisor - Night Shift. The role coordinates night freight allocation, staff workloads and supervises forklift operators to ensure efficient cold-chain logistics across the network.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in transport, understands fatigue and risk management, and holds or is willing to obtain the TLIF0006 certification, with strong MS Office skills and a forklift licence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a transport environment, ideally in a logistics operational role.
• Understanding of Fatigue Management, Mass Management, Quality Assurance and Chain of Responsibility; TLIF0006 certification or willingness to obtain.
• Sound Microsoft Office skills and attention to detail.
• Truck/High Risk Forklift Licence (highly desirable).
• Previous logistics experience in a fresh produce environment will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Assist with allocating freight, plan and manage staff workloads.
• Supervise, train and mentor a small team of forklift operators.
• Assist when required with unloading/loading inbound and outbound freight in fridge vans, trailers and taut liners.
• Follow company procedures for storage, temperature, and inventory controls.
• Keep records in accordance with Quality Assurance procedures.

About the Role

• Permanent Position working a night shift roster of Friday/Saturday/Sunday/Monday inclusive
• Hours of work generally 6pm to 5am or finish
• Assist with allocating freight, plan and manage staff workloads
• Supervise, train and mentor a small team of forklift operators
• Assist when required with the unloading/loading inbound and outbound freight in fridge vans, trailers and taut liners
• Follow company procedures for storage, temperature, and inventory controls
• Keep records in accordance with Quality Assurance procedures

Ideally you will have

• A minimum of 2 years' experience in a transport environment, ideally in a logistics operational role
