Job summary

Randstad Australia is partnering with a national logistics leader to recruit for a Customer Service Officer in the Brisbane Airport Precinct. Starting on a casual hourly rate with a direct pathway to permanent employment, the role offers immediate benefits and a modern, supportive work environment.

You will handle inbound/outbound calls, manage bookings, and collaborate with operations to ensure timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Experience in a call centre or logistics customer service.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM/dispatch databases.
• Strong multitasking and workload prioritisation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with attention to detail.
• Good knowledge of Brisbane and South East Queensland.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls and bookings; enter data into Despatch Master.
• Call customers about job completions and delivery estimates.
• Manage customer inquiry inbox to meet KPIs.
• Escalate complex inquiries and complaints.
• Review POD details and update tracking systems.
• Collaborate with operations to ensure timely service delivery.
• Create and maintain customer operations task lists and safety initiatives.
• Assist with admin tasks and system reports (Despatch Master, CMS, MyTeam).
• Perform higher duties during staff leave.
