Job summary

Baxter is seeking an energetic Logistics Coordinator to join its Planning & Fulfillment team in Australia. You will manage the end-to-end movement of essential capital equipment, including hospital beds and surgical tables, across the country and gain exposure to planning, fulfilment and customer operations.

Reporting to the Planning & Fulfillment Manager, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders, freight providers, warehouses and customers to ensure seamless delivery and installation

Qualifications

  • Proven experience within Australian domestic freight and transport industry.
  • Experience coordinating freight movements across multiple carriers and locations.
  • Strong understanding of freight operations, transport networks, delivery scheduling, and logistics execution.
  • Experience working with 3PLs, freight carriers, and warehouse operations.
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on efficiencies and customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate end-to-end logistics of capital equipment across Australia.
  • Coordinate freight movements with carriers, warehouses, service technicians, and internal teams.
  • Collaborate with Planning & Fulfillment to optimise stock allocation and product availability.
  • Support major installation projects and customer deployments.
  • Maintain relationships with freight partners and stakeholders.
  • Identify and implement process improvements for better outcomes and efficiency.
  • Monitor logistics performance and analyse data for trends and opportunities.
  • Provide proactive communication and problem resolution for customers and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinating freight movements with carriers, warehouses, service technicians, and internal teams
  • Working closely with Planning & Fulfillment to optimise stock allocation and product availability
  • Supporting major installation projects and customer deployments

  • Identifying and implementing process improvement initiatives that enhance customer outcomes and operational efficiency
