Northrop Grumman Australia is seeking a Logistics Assessor to support the KC-30A Supply Chain from Springfield. You will manage inventory planning, forecasting, and procurement support, enabling timely parts availability and reliable aircraft operations. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Providing Logistics Assessor assessment to codify items for stock or purchase in NG and customer systems.
• Cataloguing and data maintenance of stock/purchase items in NG and customer systems.
• Coordinate between Supply Chain, Engineering and Customer to interpret technical data.
• Maintain key data sets and tools to promote system health in NG and CoA systems.
• Work with Supply Planners to develop demand forecasts for KC-30A.
• Assist with KC-30A demand forecast development and maintenance.
• Analyse historical consumption, inventories and maintenance needs.
• Identify shortages and future material requirements.

We're seeking a Logistics Assessor to join our KC-30A Supply Chain team based in Springfield. This role plays an important part in ensuring the right materials, parts and inventory are available to support aircraft operations and maintenance.

You’ll work across inventory management, materials planning, forecasting, procurement support and data management, helping ensure critical components are available when needed.

About the Team

You’ll join a highly experienced Supply Planning team supporting the KC-30A Program and working at the heart of a critical Defence aviation capability.

This opportunity has been created as part of a planned transition within the team, with a long-serving team member moving into retirement after building extensive knowledge and experience across the program. As a result, we’re looking for someone who is eager to learn, develop and grow their career within Northrop Grumman Australia.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing Logistics Assessor Assessment to initiate codification of all items expected to be required to be held in stock or purchased for the Program, both in Customer and Northrup Grumman systems.
• Cataloguing & Codification and data maintenance of all items expected to be required to be held in stock or purchased for the Program, both in Customer and Northrup Grumman systems.
• Co-ordination of enquiries and requirements between Supply Chain, Engineering and other parts of the Program and Customer were needed to interpret technical and supply data
• Maintain all applicable key data sets and system tools to effectively promote system health in both NG and CoA tool sets.
• Work directly with Supply Planners to develop practical experience in part forecasting and supply planning.
• Assist with developing and maintaining KC-30A demand forecasts.
• Analyse historical consumption, inventory levels, maintenance requirements, and emerging demand.
• Support the identification of potential shortages, supply risks and future material requirements.

About You

You’ll bring:

• The ability to obtain and maintain an AGSVA security clearance at NV1.
• A proactive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn new skills and take ownership of your work.
• The ability to build effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders, including technical and operational teams.
• Experience in coding, codification, cataloguing or material master data management. (Highly regarded)
• Exposure to SAP or other ERP systems. (Highly regarded)
