We have both full-time and casual positions available. Full-time team members work full-time hours across rostered shifts within our 24/7 production cycle. Depending on the roster, shifts may include early mornings, daytime, evenings, overnight work and weekends.
You’ll receive hands-on training, clear guidance and plenty of support from our experienced pastry team leaders as you build your skills across different areas of production.
Every shift plays an important part in creating a great Tuga product. Working alongside our experienced pastry team, you will:

Let your team leader know if something doesn’t look or feel right
Help keep production moving smoothly by working closely with the people around you
Follow our HACCP, food-safety and workplace-safety procedures
Keep work areas, utensils and production equipment clean, sanitised and ready to use
You’ll be a great fit for the team if you:
Have some previous experience in a bakery, pastry kitchen, food-production business, commercial kitchen or similar environment
Enjoy practical, hands-on work and take pride in what you produce
Can follow recipes, instructions and established production processes
Have a good eye for detail and consistency
Are reliable, punctual and ready to contribute to the team
Work well with others in a busy production environment
Are willing to learn and develop your skills across different production tasks
Can work rostered shifts across our operation, including overnight and weekend shifts where required
At Tuga, you’ll be part of the team that makes the products our customers line up for. You’ll learn from passionate and experienced pastry professionals, receive practical training and have opportunities to build your skills and grow with the business. Add in staff perks and discounts, a friendly and supportive crew, and the satisfaction of seeing what you helped create enjoyed across Sydney, and there’s plenty to look forward to in every shift.
Applications are welcome from candidates who are currently living in Australia, hold a valid Australian visa with appropriate working rights for the position, and are available to work at one of our Sydney locations.
