Job summary

Mercy Community invites applications for a Local Level Alliance Facilitator based in Caboolture. This permanent full-time role focuses on raising awareness of the Family and Child Connect service, coordinating outreach, and supporting joint case management across diverse service providers to connect families with essential supports.

Ideal candidates hold a relevant degree and have experience in community development or family support, with knowledge of the Queensland child protections system and

Qualifications

• As the successful candidate, you will possess a recognised degree in Social Work, Community Development or related field.
• You should have knowledge of Queensland child protections system and previous community development experience.
• You should understand Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and engage respectfully.
• Hold a Queensland Provisional Green or above Driver Licence.
• Be able to obtain Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and other required screenings.
• Evidence of vaccination against whooping cough or willingness to obtain before start.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and coordinate community outreach strategies.
• Provide community development components of the Family and Child Connect service within the Local Level Alliance.
• Undertake network mapping and raise service awareness in the area.
• Collaborate to identify client needs and deliver high-quality services within resources.
