Job summary

Mercy Community is seeking a dynamic Team Manager for the Family and Child Connect Program based in Caboolture. This permanent full-time role works with an experienced team and Senior Program Manager to shape service delivery and regional engagement.

The successful candidate will oversee incident management, stakeholder relations with DCSYW and others, and reporting against service agreements, while supporting staff in therapeutic engagements with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Tertiary degree or above in Social Work, Behavioural Sciences, Psychology or related discipline.
• Experience in safety and risk assessments, family support and intervention services.
• Knowledge of Queensland child protection system and valid Blue Card/WWCC.

Responsibilities

• Ensure program areas operate in accordance with Mercy Community and co-agency policy, procedures and values, service schedules, accreditation requirements and other relevant protocols in close consultation with the line manager.
• Oversee the management of critical and non-critical incidents in line with organisation and legislative requirements, in consultation with the Program Manager/Senior Program Manager.
• Maintain professional relationships with the Department of Child Safety, Youth & Women and other stakeholders to support MC programs.
• Prepare reporting against service agreements or other required reports and submit to management on time.
• Provide direct assistance to staff in managing their relationships and therapeutic engagements with stakeholders.
