Job summary

Veriu's Punthill South Yarra location is hiring a Local Host to deliver outstanding guest experiences in a stylish Melbourne hotel. You will guide guests through check-in/check-out, offer local recommendations, and ensure memorable stays in a fast-paced setting.

You will work with a small team, adapt to varying shifts, and contribute to a culture of ownership, integrity and personal growth while supporting the Hotel Manager to maintain Veri-Best standards.

Qualifications

• Approved Australian working rights.
• First Aid Certificate.
• Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends/public holidays (rotational).
• Ability to work in a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level guest services at check-in/check-out and during stay.
• Offer creative resolutions to guest issues and complaints.
• Know the local area to advise guests on points of interest.
• Respond to emergencies in a safe, professional manner.
• Identify opportunities to increase returning and new guests.
• Support Hotel Manager to maintain Veri-Best standards.
