Qualifications

• Current HC licence is required.
• Proven commercial driving experience (local or metro delivery experience is a bonus).
• Refrigerated or cold-chain experience is helpful, but not essential.
• A safe driving record is required.
• A strong focus on safety and doing the job properly.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable, on time and take pride in your vehicle and your work.

Responsibilities

• Support Local work and collection of containers from the Rail.
• Safe Always – Demonstrating safe work practices, leading by example and promoting a safe work culture.
• Temperature Sensitive Freight – handling temperature sensitive freight safely and timely.
• Customer Service – Interacting with customers in a professional manner.
• Teamwork & Communication – Working with depot teams for loading, unloading and transportation.
• Quality Checks & Control – Completing pre-start checks and safety documentation.
