Job summary

Lindsay Australia is seeking a Local MC Driver for night shift duties at our Adelaide depot. The role offers a permanent full-time position with an hourly rate of $32.31 plus a night shift allowance and a Monday to Friday roster with occasional weekend shifts.

Ideal candidates will be experienced MC drivers who want to be home each night and contribute to keeping the depot moving. The role includes overtime, weekly wages, superannuation, and additional benefits.

Qualifications

• Current MC licence.
• Proven commercial driving experience (local or metro).
• Refrigerated or cold-chain experience is helpful but not essential.
• A safe driving record (driving history report required).
• Strong focus on safety and doing the job properly.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Safe Always – Demonstrating safe work practices and promoting a safe work culture.
• Temperature Sensitive Freight – handling temperature sensitive freight safely and on time.
• Customer Service – interacting with customers professionally.
• Teamwork & Communication – coordinating with depot teams for loading, unloading and transport.
• Quality Checks – completing pre-start checklists and safety paperwork.

Local Driver MC - Night Shift

Location: Adelaide

Hourly Rate: $32.31 + night shift allowance

Roster: Monday to Friday + Occasional Weekend shift availability.

Our Adelaide depot is looking for a Local MC Driver to join the team, offering a permanent full-time position.

This role is ideally suited to an experienced MC Driver that still wants to be behind the wheel but also wishes to be home each night. A key role keeping our depot moving.
