Job summary

Shadforth Civil Contractors in Queensland's Bundaberg region is seeking a Civil Engineer (or equivalent) to join our team on two major civil projects in Bargara and Burnett Heads. You will coordinate daily construction activities, develop short-term programs, and work alongside experienced project managers and site teams to deliver quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
• Experience delivering civil infrastructure or subdivision projects.
• Strong understanding of civil construction methodologies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to build positive relationships with clients, subcontractors and site teams.
• Proactive, organised and eager to develop your career within a growing business.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily construction activities and assist with project delivery.
• Prepare and manage short-term programs, ITPs, QA documentation and project reporting.
• Monitor project costs, quantities and progress against budget and program.
• Procure materials and coordinate subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety requirements and quality standards.
• Assist with client liaison and attend project meetings.
• Identify and resolve technical and construction-related issues on site.
