Job summary

Residency by Dillons in Tin Can Bay, Queensland, is seeking a Part Time Maintenance Assistant to support our general and preventative maintenance program across the home. You will identify and resolve maintenance issues, liaise with external contractors, organise storage, maintain asset registers, and contribute to hazard management while delivering compassionate care to residents.

Qualifications

• Ability to liaise with external contractors
• Organise, maintain and operate storage facility
• Maintain equipment asset register
• Hazard management
• Able to communicate in written and oral English
• Trade qualifications would be an advantage but not mandatory

Responsibilities

• Assist with the company's general and preventative maintenance program
• Identify and assess corrective maintenance issues and resolve them promptly
• Liaise with approved external contractors
• Organise, maintain and operate the storage facility
• Maintain the equipment asset register
• Actively involved in hazard management
• Demonstrate care for frail aged people
