Job summary

Residency by Dillons in Tin Can Bay, Queensland, is seeking a Part Time Maintenance Assistant to support our general and preventative maintenance program across the home. You will identify and resolve maintenance issues, liaise with external contractors, organise storage, maintain asset registers, and contribute to hazard management while delivering compassionate care to residents.

English communication required; police/NDIS clearances and right to work in Australia are required; Mon-Fri

We are currently seeking a Part Time Maintenance Assistant to undertake a variety of general maintenance tasks.

Trade qualifications would be an advantage but not mandatory.

Will be responsible for assisting with the company's general and preventative maintenance program.

Identify and assess corrective maintenance issues and resolve them promptly.

Ability to effectively liaise with approved external contractors.

Organise, maintain and operate the storage facility.

Maintain the company's equipment asset register.

Actively involved in hazard management

Demonstrates genuine desire to care for frail aged people

Able to effectively communicate in written and oral English

Current Police Clearance Certificate or a NDIS clearance certificate

Evidence of right to work in Australia

Successful applicant must be available to commence immediately and work

Mondays - Fridays 10:00am - 16:00pm.
