Job summary

Keegan Adams Recruitment is partnering with a fast-growing Australian non-bank lender to recruit a Collections / Loan Servicing specialist. The role focuses on owning a portfolio of active loans and supporting customers through the post-settlement lending lifecycle.

It is not a traditional high-volume collections role; the emphasis is on proactive engagement with customers and brokers before milestones, identifying issues early, and delivering practical outcomes before arrears or defaults occur.

Qualifications

• Experience across mortgage servicing, loan operations, collections, hardship or customer support within banking, non-bank lending or fintech.
• Understanding of post-settlement processes in lending.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of active short-term property backed loans (residential and commercial).
• Proactively contact customers ahead of maturity dates and key loan milestones.
• Support extensions, variations and restructures in line with policy.
• Escalate risks to Credit and senior stakeholders as needed.
• Maintain records and ensure regulatory and compliance requirements are met.
• Collaborate with Credit, Operations and internal teams to deliver outcomes.
