Job summary

LifeHealthcare, part of EBOS MedTech, is seeking a hands-on Loan Kit Technician for our Port Melbourne team. You will prepare, maintain and coordinate surgical loan kits and instrument sets to ensure timely, accurate delivery for customer procedures.

Responsibilities include packing, receiving, inspecting, stocking, and recording inventory movements in the ERP system, while working with Territory Managers and hospital customers to meet surgical requirements.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of loan kit processes and inventory control.
• Experience using ERP or inventory management systems.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• A proactive, can-do attitude.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining accuracy.
• A continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, pack and dispatch loan kits and instrument sets for customer procedures.
• Receive, inspect, replenish and transact kits following surgical use.
• Ensure all inventory movements are accurately recorded within the ERP system.
• Maintain, clean and test surgical instruments and sets to ensure they are complete and fully functional.
• Work closely with Territory Managers, Customer Service, Supply Chain and hospital customers to meet surgical requirements.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and assist with stock control activities.
• Complete daily activity logs and missing item reporting.
• Contribute to maintaining a clean, safe and efficient warehouse environment.
• Participate in on-call and overtime rosters as required.
• Assist with annual stocktakes and cycle counts.
