Job summary

LifeHealthcare is seeking a hands-on Loan Kit Technician in Macquarie Park to prepare, maintain and dispatch loan kits for surgical procedures. You will work with hospital customers and internal teams to ensure timely delivery and maintain accurate records.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to manage multiple priorities, and willingness to participate in on-call rosters with occasional out-of-hours work.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of loan kit processes and inventory control.
• Experience using ERP or inventory management systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, pack and dispatch loan kits and instrument sets for customer procedures.
• Receive, inspect, replenish and transact kits following surgical use.
• Ensure all inventory movements are accurately recorded within the ERP system.
• Maintain, clean and test surgical instruments and sets to ensure completeness and functionality.
• Collaborate with Territory Managers, Customer Service, Supply Chain and hospital customers to meet requirements.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and assist with stock control activities.
• Complete daily activity logs and missing item reporting.
• Contribute to a clean, safe and efficient warehouse environment.
• Participate in on-call and overtime rosters as required.
• Assist with annual stocktakes and cycle counts.

We are looking for a hands‑on, detail-oriented Loan Kit Technician to join our Macquarie Park team. In this fast‑paced role, you'll be responsible for preparing, maintaining and coordinating surgical loan kits and instrument sets to ensure they are delivered accurately and on time.

What You'll Be Doing

• Prepare, pack and dispatch loan kits and instrument sets for customer procedures

• Work closely with Territory Managers, Customer Service, Supply Chain and hospital customers to meet surgical requirements
• Monitor inventory accuracy and assist with stock control activities
• Complete daily activity logs and missing item reporting
• Contribute to maintaining a clean, safe and efficient warehouse environment
• Participate in on‑call and overtime rosters as required
• Assist with annual stocktakes and cycle counts

To be successful, you will have

Additional Requirements

• Participation in an on‑call roster
• Some out‑of‑hours work as required
• Availability for two weekend stocktakes/cycle counts each year
